Amidst the howling of wolves comes the cry of Eya-Hey Nakoda, a drum recording on Saskatchewan's Turtle Island Music. Formed in 1994 by Rod Hunter and Desi Rider, both lead singers in other drums, they formed a new group and went on to win first place at the Aboriginal Cultural Festival in Vancouver, B.C. Since then they have written 127 songs that reflect their love of their Mountain Nakoda heritage. Translations to the songs are included.
