The Young Scouts are a group of singers that come from various parts of North America. The Scouts have been singing together as a group for several years. The reason behind the Scouts is to honor those song makers and singers that have set a good example for younger singers to follow. Most of our songs are composed by inspiration. Singers like Clayton Chief, Edward Running Around, Kenneth Pooyak, Gordon McGilvery, Mervin Dreaver, Eugene Alexis, Norman Yellowbird, Eugene Cardinal, Logan Alexis Singers, and Ken Saddleback have inspired them. These are round dance songs accompanied by hand drums. The hand drum is held in high regard by the Plains Cree. The Drums are Calling!
